Meet The Founder

About Delphine Gervais

I am the CEO/Founder and Clinical Director of Breakthrough Care and Resource Center, Inc.. Serving residents in: FL, GA, NJ, OR, WA, CA, and CO.

After nearly 15 years of being a public servant, moving into private practice in 2016 was a natural transition for me. I believe that prioritizing mental health as a public health issue creates meaningful conversation around deconstructing systems and dismantling generational trauma. I seek to support individuals, couples, families and organizations in reaching their full potential.

I use therapeutic techniques that are trauma focused in approach (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy-CBT, Family Systems, Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing-EMDR). I really enjoy leveraging the power of technology in the therapeutic relationship with both individuals and groups.

As a lifelong learner you’ll always find me getting into some “good trouble” in advocacy work as a clinician and business owner.

Insurances  We Currently Accept

Self-pay rates are included to make this a simple process.

There are therapists who may or may not accept insurance. When it comes to counseling, remember you are the consumer and it should be about what will work best for you.

Once you’ve looked over the services and fees, we invite you to give us a call at (954) 281-2958. You can also check out Psychology TodayTherapy For Black Girls, Open Path Collective, or Ayana Therapy and search for a therapist in your area or one that addresses your area of need.
